Here are my daily pics for last week.
March 29 Last weekend, I decided I was going to make this recipe that was in the New York Times and looked really great. I just love, love, love chicken thighs. Dark meat is so much better than boring, dry white breast meat. The recipe turned out really, really well.
March 30 I did take a picture on the 30th, but it was the photo of the screen for my Catching Fire post. Not an exciting photo, but it's posted on the web, just not in this gallery.
March 31 I decided to get a haircut after work. Between the weight I've lost and the hair I've cut off, I really think you can see the weight loss in my face. So, I took a selfie.
April 1 is Foxy's birthday! I tried to get here to sit pretty for a picture, but she was barely tolerating it. So, her ears aren't all that perky, but she's still a good girl, and now she's ten years old!
April 2 I had to go to Washington DC, just for a day trip. As I was walking to the meeting, I noticed that they were tearing down the Christian Science church that used to be on the corner. So, I snapped a photo of the construction. It just struck me as odd that they'd tear down a church. Like, completely demolish it. If there were problems with the building, why didn't the Christian Scientists just pray until the building fixed itself?
April 3 On the bus on the way in to work, I saw the top of the Freedom Tower peeking out from the top of some other buildings. The top of the building looks totally different from this angle.
April 4 On my way home, I stopped off at The Farm for dinner. David was hanging out with some former colleagues, so he didn't join me. I had a nice time, just the same. I was sitting in my usual seat, at my favorite place, with my friend Trey at the bar, and I ordered really delicious food. I'm not feeling sick any more, and the work week is at an end. Happy!
