I would tell you that Dram Shop has the best wings in Park Slope, Brooklyn, but I haven't eaten all of the wings in Park Slope, Brooklyn, so I can't tell you that.
What I can tell you, however, is that the wings are very, very good. They have two varieties--buffalo and barbeque. I think I had the barbeque, once. But why would you bother, when they have buffalo? It's the classic buffalo sauce flavor profile and I'd call it "medium" on the spice scale (you don't get to ask for a custom spice level). The wings were well-sauced--so well-sauced that the sauce actually pools on the plate. So, really good classic wings. Fried perfectly. Good and meaty. Pitch-perfect sauce, with plenty of napkins.
So, now I need to direct your attention to the sides. You can order six or ten wings in a serving, and I went with the 'small.' With six wings, they give you a very generous handful of carrot sticks and celery sticks, and a small bowl of bleu cheese dressing. A bowl. A BOWL OF BLEU CHEESE DRESSING!
Now, this is not the most incredible or chunky bleu cheese dressing. But it's got actual chunks of cheese (not a huge amount, but they're there), and it's relatively thick. Most importantly, it doesn't come in a ramekin, or a tiny cup. The bowl is wide enough that you can dunk your wings, and you can dunk your carrots and celery, and you'll have plenty of dressing for all of it.
These wings are awesome. You should eat them.
