On Sunday, before heading to Washington DC, we met Dave for brunch, and while parking the car, I noticed this sign that had been planted on the summit of a mound of melting snow in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
On Monday and Tuesday, I was in Washington, DC, and Monday, there was a big snowstorm. People in DC don't really know how to handle snow. This was the view from my hotel room when I woke up on Monday.
Scrappy wasn't feeling well, when I got home on Tuesday. We had kind of a rough night, because Scrappy couldn't really settle down. In fact, I wound up sleeping on the sofa with all of the dogs.
The next day, though, Scrappy was feeling much better. So, my picture for the day for Wednesday was Scrappy and Howard cuddling with each other.
On Thursday, we went to Wheated--the awesome pizza place in our neighborhood, where David and I have quickly become regulars. They have a great bourbon selection, and one of our favorite bartenders, Chrissy, gave us drinks in these funky slanted glasses.
I meant to take a picture of my grilled cheese sandwich before eating half of it, but I forgot. I've become kind of obsessed with Melt Shop. This was their fried chicken grilled cheese, with cheesy tots.
On Saturday, we had nice weather for the first time in a long while. Emily came over, and we wound up making a fire in the firepit and sitting outside for a while.
And that's my week of daily pictures!
